I don't share everybody's excitement about Greta Thungerg's intervention.
The fact that young people and teenagers draw everybody's attention to the acute issues of nowadays including environmental issues is a good thing and we should support them in that. 
When children or teeangers are used by someone in their own interests that only merits condemnation, especially it is bad if someone capitalizes on that.
I'm not stating this is the case, but probably we should keep an eye on that possiblity.
No one explained it to Greta that this is a diverse multi-faceted world undergoing a rapid development and people in Asia and Africa want to have the same living standards as Sweden but how to achieve that? 
Probably make them use solar energy. Has anyone explained it to her how much it costs.

The colleague has just mentioned oil and it's common knowledge that energy source number one in the global energy mix and that will be in this capacity for the forthcoming 25 years. 
These are data from global experts. The share will be gradually declining.
Yes renewables will be on the rise at a faster pace and we should strive for that today 
Is it an affordable country for emerging countries, or not. Hardly so, The people want so but people want to have the same living standards as they have in Sweden and they can't be stopped.

Definitely emtions are normal and inevitable. 
But if we want to be efficient in our undertakings, we are to be professional.  
And I'm positive that Greta is a good girl, kind one and sincere one,
but adults must do their upmost not to lead kids and teenagers to extreams and reinforce them from exuberant emotions that may ruin their personalities 
but by and large definitely we can support the ideas related to renewables' development
Definitely we should build on real facts and pushing that process,nudging that and I mentioned incentives that we have in the Russian Federation in this respect.

Right now in my intervention we not only have signed the Paris agreement and will ratify 

we also have been doing a number of steps to reduce emissions and to bolster alternative energy sources with the respect to the taxation...with tax preferances for alternative energy sources we have been trying to rely on gas as the cleanest of all the hydrocarbons.

But you know I reiterate using kids and adlescents to acheive even noble goals in a very tough emotional context is not a good thing, not a proper thing to do.
